Spinsters Nook set in the grounds of a 15th century yeoman’s timber hall house, Spinster’s Nook offers luxurious studio accommodation which has been ingeniously designed and sympathetically modernised. The parquet flooring has been up-cycled from The Cloth Hall and now encases the underfloor heating, there is a modern kitchen with cast concrete worktops and a state of the art wet room and to complete the picture, a sumptuous king size bed where you can snuggle up and watch the TV. Outside there is a courtyard garden with beech hedge screening and garden furniture and in addition there is a communal fire pit which can be used for barbecuing.

Smarden is a small picturesque village with 3 pubs, butchers and vintage shop and art gallery. Local shopping can be done in Headcorn which is 3.5 miles away and there is also a mainline station there. Close by you can explore Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens, Leeds Castle and Bodiam Castle. There is a golf club at Chart Hills and fishing lakes at Cackle Hill. Historic Rye is 19 miles away, Camber Sands is just a few miles further along the coast. The Kent and East Sussex Railway is in Tenterden, which is known as the Jewel in the Weald locally, with lots of independent shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs.
